First Presbyterian Church is a wonderful and warm community, open to newcomers.
We are passionate about sharing our love for Jesus and stories of faith. We are a vibrant community. We offer Sunday morning worship at 10:45, followed by a time of treats and fellowship. We have Christian education opportunities for adults of any age.

ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING (OGHS) 2025
This denomination-wide offering during Lent responds directly to the needs God has called us as Christian Presbyterians to fulfill in Isaiah 58. It is the largest way we have come together every year to work for a better world for over 75 years.
Around the world, millions of people lack access to sustainable food sources, clean water, sanitation, education, and opportunity. The three programs supported by One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS)-- Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA), the Presbyterian Hunger Program (PHP), and Self-Development of People (SDOP)-- all work in different ways to serve individuals and communities in need. From initial disaster response to ongoing community development, their work fits together to provide people with safety, sustenance, and hope.
Received during the season of Lent (March 5-April 20), each gift to the OGHS Offering helps to improve the lives of people in these challenging situations. The Offering provides us a way to share God’s love with our neighbors in need.
Where Do the Funds Go?
32% helps Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) provide for recovery and hope
36% helps Presbyterian Hunger Program (PHP) alleviate hunger and care for creation
32% helps Self-Development of People (SDOP) invest in communities in need
Expect bulletin inserts and “minutes for mission” to inform us. Even though our PCUSA congregation is small, when we combine our gifts with other Presbyterian congregations in the US, we truly do make a good and positive difference in this world.
